Hillside Wellness Center Associate Training & Stipend Program

For AMFTs and APCCs

Annual Stipend: $6,000 | Monthly Disbursement: $500

Program Duration: 12 Months

Program Requirements

  • Commitment to a 12-month training period
  • Maintain a caseload of 15 client hours per week
  • Attend weekly supervision (4 hours total)
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and staff development
  • Maintain timely documentation and case notes
  • Demonstrate clinical curiosity, professionalism, and a passion for trauma-informed care

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must hold an active AMFT or APCC number with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
  • Must have successfully completed a practicum or traineeship
  • Must be able to commit to 15 client hours per week
  • Must demonstrate a strong interest in trauma work and client-centered care

    • One from your practicum/traineeship site supervisor
    • One academic reference (e.g., professor or faculty advisor)
    • One personal or character reference
