Cameron is a native of Park City, Utah, but has called Southern California home since 2004. He is currently finishing his master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in trauma at Pacific Oaks College.
Cameron is making the transition to the world of psychology after spending the last 18 years working on the physical side of human development and rehabilitation. He studied kinesiology at Cal state Northridge while working on campus at the University’s state of the art adaptive therapeutic exercise center. It was there that he began to recognize the impact that injuries, disease, and poor physical condition can have on one’s mental health. This would later inspire Cameron’s design and implementation of a wellness program at a live-in health and wellness resort in Malibu. He spent nearly a decade there coaching and counseling people from all over the world. Cameron believes movement is one of nature’s finest medicines and combines that ideology with a psychodynamic and solution-focused approach to therapy.
