Alexa is an Associate MFT who uses an inclusive, culturally-sensitive approach to foster a warm, nurturing environment for her clients. Alexa combines systemic (family & social) therapy with attachment theory to help her clients garner insight into patterns affecting their lives. She also utilizes a mindfulness approach to help clients manage difficult thoughts and emotions through non-judgment and empathy. She specializes in self-esteem/empowerment, women’s issues, trauma, and sexuality & gender (LGBTQIA+).
Alexa graduated with her MS in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University and obtained her BA in Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
